AI-enabled Senior Software Engineer (Typescript Focus)

About the role

AccessOwl is looking for a senior software engineer who lives and breathes TypeScript and uses AI daily to build browser automations. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within ±3 hours of CET while contributing to a fast‑growing SaaS integration platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own and scale the integration layer that connects AccessOwl to hundreds of SaaS tools, targeting 300 new integrations this year.
• Develop and maintain browser automations using AI and Playwright (or Puppeteer) for seamless third‑party integration.
• Build browser extensions from scratch to enhance customer connectivity.
• Adopt a “you build it, you run it” mindset, taking full ownership of your applications.
• Participate in customer problem discussions and help shape product solutions.
• Collaborate openly with a small, tight‑knit remote team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional web development experience with a strong focus on JavaScript and TypeScript.
• AI‑native mindset, eager to create novel browser automations.
• Proven experience with Playwright or Puppeteer.
• Familiarity with multiple programming languages; Elixir is a plus.
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage and operate applications.
• Proactive, continuous learner who enjoys breaking complex problems into smaller parts.
