Art Director, Social Video (f/m/d)

About the role

Moonbase is looking for a creative leader to shape social‑first video advertising across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and more. You will drive concept development, oversee production, and ensure every piece of content performs at the top of its class.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and design social video ads that capture attention within the first three seconds and guide viewers through the funnel.
• Collaborate with paid‑media managers, creative strategists and Gen‑Z content specialists to align creative ideas with campaign objectives.
• Maintain a “Creative of the Week” showcase, curating the smartest social ads and sharing insights with the team.
• Lead photo and video shoots, manage production schedules and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Analyse performance data, optimise ad rotation monthly and run A/B tests to refine creative angles.
• Stay ahead of platform trends, influencer market shifts and emerging best‑practice to keep Moonbase’s output in the top 5% of performers.

Required profile

• Deep passion for social media culture with a daily screen‑time habit that fuels creative intuition.
• Proven experience managing paid‑social campaigns with budgets of at least €100k per month.
• Strong leadership and delegation skills, capable of guiding senior managers and executives.
• Excellent command of English; German language skills are a strong plus.
• Track record of delivering high‑performing D2C and e‑commerce social creative.
