About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the daily operations of a high‑end restaurant within Hotel Bayerischer Hof, one of Munich’s most prestigious hotels. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring smooth service flow.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations, ensuring service standards are met.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive problem solving.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of restaurant staff.
• Monitor food and beverage service quality, inventory, and cost control.
• Facilitate clear communication among team members and between the restaurant and hotel departments.

Required profile

• Strong background in customer service and hospitality.
• Experience in hiring, staff development, and team leadership.
• Excellent communication abilities in both German and English.
• Organised, solution‑oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
