Audit Assistant – Direct Client Contact & Fast Development

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Audit Assistant to join our client’s audit team in Düsseldorf. This full‑time position offers immediate responsibility, hands‑on experience with financial statement audits, and fast professional development alongside seasoned auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting annual financial statement audits in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
• Support analysis and assessment of business processes and internal control systems.
• Prepare, structure, and evaluate audit documentation.
• Collaborate closely with senior auditors and client contacts.
• Document audit findings and help draft audit reports.

Required profile

• Successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Initial practical experience (internships, working‑student jobs, or commercial training) is a plus.
• Strong curiosity, willingness to learn and develop further.
• Enjoy teamwork while taking independent responsibility.
• Very good German and English language skills.
