Automation Engineer – Robotics

About the role

We are seeking an Automation Engineer specialized in robotics to design and build intelligent manufacturing systems. You will turn complex production processes into autonomous operations, working at the intersection of robotics, software, and industrial automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions for advanced robotic systems.
• Develop, optimise and commission production and assembly processes.
• Integrate robots, sensors, vision systems and industrial equipment into fully automated environments.
• Troubleshoot complex automation challenges and create scalable solutions.
• Collaborate closely with robotics software, controls and hardware teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of performance, reliability and efficiency.
• Take systems from concept through to deployment.

Required profile

• Experience in automation engineering, robotics, controls or industrial systems.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with robotics integration and commissioning.
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols and control systems.
• Problem‑solving mindset in real‑world environments.
