Autonomous Vehicle Driver (T1 Certified)

About the role

We are seeking a T1 Certified Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator to operate and evaluate self‑driving cars in live traffic environments. The role involves monitoring vehicle behavior, providing detailed feedback, and occasionally taking manual control to ensure safety.

Key responsibilities

• Operate autonomous vehicles on defined and exploratory routes under various traffic and weather conditions.
• Monitor vehicle systems in autonomous mode and intervene manually when necessary.
• Use software tools to log issues and deliver comprehensive feedback to engineering and operations teams.
• Provide ride‑hailing services to the public as part of real‑world AV testing.
• Maintain safety protocols in line with T1‑certified standards.
• Complete detailed shift reports for engineering and operations teams.
• Adapt to flexible shift schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts.

Required profile

• T1 Certification for Autonomous Vehicle Operations.
• Valid Class C driver’s license with at least three years of clean driving experience.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Strong observational and communication abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear documentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with laptops, mobile applications, and web‑based reporting tools.
