Backend Developer – Python & AWS

About the role

VAARHAFT is a fast‑growing startup focused on protecting the credibility of digital media. As a Backend Developer you will work on the core "Fraud Scanner" product, ensuring reliable API operation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend components using Python.
• Administer AWS infrastructure (EC2, API Gateway, VPC, S3, DynamoDB).
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage Docker environments.
• Write tests, debug code and guarantee high performance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot production issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of proven experience as a backend engineer building scalable web applications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Quick learner with the ability to adopt new technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
