Backend Software Engineer – SaaS & Robotics

About the role

You will design, develop, and maintain the server‑side components of our SaaS platform that powers a robotics ecosystem. The focus is on building scalable, reliable, and efficient backend systems that support global deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise server‑side components for high performance and scalability.
• Design, implement, and test APIs for production environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project milestones and deliver quality features.
• Identify and resolve software defects, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues.
• Take autonomous initiative to improve the product and its architecture.
• Stay current with best practices, technologies, and trends in backend and micro‑services development.
• Provide technical guidance to external development teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Backend or Full‑stack Engineer.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work asynchronously in a distributed, remote‑first team.
