Business Controller (1-year parental cover)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Controller to join our finance team for a 1‑year parental cover. In this position you will partner with department leads to manage resources, support planning, and drive reporting improvements across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver regular business unit reports and ad‑hoc analyses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and KPI tracking in close collaboration with accounting and financial controlling.
• Lead projects such as business planning, forecast updates and process‑optimisation initiatives.
• Analyse cost drivers, identify variances and follow up with relevant business units.
• Design and implement improvements to reporting and planning tools and blueprints.

Required profile

• Completed studies in business administration, finance, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Controlling or FP&A, preferably in a fast‑moving logistics or e‑commerce environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (MS Office) proficiency.
• Good knowledge of finance and reporting tools.
