About the role
Allego is expanding its European High‑Power Charging network in Germany and is looking for a Business Developer to lead site acquisition and partnership efforts. Based in Berlin, you will work closely with property owners, B2B clients, highway operators and government bodies to grow the ultra‑fast charging footprint.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, assess and negotiate long‑term land lease or purchase contracts for ultra‑fast charging sites.
- Create commercially sustainable business cases for each project.
- Lead negotiations with property owners, landlords, real‑estate developers and large B2B tenants.
- Collaborate with the Network Planning team to evaluate profitability of locations.
- Hand over secured sites to Delivery Managers for construction and installation.
- Represent Allego at expos and report on market requirements, competitor positioning and project progress.
- Maintain a pipeline of high‑quality leads across the DACH region, focusing on Germany.
Required profile
- Proven track record in sales with at least 3 years of business development experience.
- Strong networking, negotiating and presentation abilities.
- Well‑connected in property development and real‑estate, especially near highways or related sectors.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to provide insights and develop business cases.
- Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and willing to travel several days a week.
