Casual Academic – Business Integrated First Year (IFY)

About the role

UNSW Business School is seeking enthusiastic casual academics to join the Integrated First Year (IFY) teaching team. You will deliver face‑to‑face, hybrid and online tutorials and workshops that integrate business themes across disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate tutorials, workshops and seminars for first‑year Bachelor of Commerce students.
• Prepare and deliver engaging learning materials aligned with the integrated curriculum.
• Assess student work, provide feedback and support their academic progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teaching staff to ensure cohesive delivery.
• Complete required administrative tasks related to course delivery.

Required profile

• Experience in coaching, mentoring, teaching or facilitating higher‑education sessions.
• Strong enthusiasm for helping students succeed in their learning journeys.
• Ability to thrive in collaborative, interdisciplinary environments.
• Motivation to fulfil administrative responsibilities promptly.
• Legal right to work in Australia and an Australian bank account.
