Commercial Lawyer – European & UK Markets

About the role

Angi is looking for a Commercial Lawyer to support its European and UK businesses. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will provide practical, business‑focused legal advice across a variety of commercial, regulatory and operational matters in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise internal stakeholders across the UK and Europe on commercial, legal and regulatory issues.
• Manage legal escalations and disputes arising from marketplace operations, assessing risk and recommending pragmatic solutions.
• Review, negotiate and draft commercial agreements, including technology, marketing, procurement and supplier contracts.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in the UK and EU, assess impact and support implementation of required changes.
• Identify day‑to‑day legal and regulatory risks and work with stakeholders to implement mitigation measures and process improvements.
• Assist with legal project management and coordination across multiple jurisdictions.
• Prepare guidance, templates and training materials to improve legal awareness and compliance.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with at least 2 years of experience in a reputable law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Generalist with strong understanding of commercial and privacy law.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment.
• Proactive, process‑oriented and interested in legal technology and AI.
