Communications Specialist

About the role

Join Microsoft’s communications team to shape how thousands of employees across Germany and Austria connect with the company’s strategy, culture, and business priorities. You will partner with leaders and stakeholders to create compelling employee communications that inspire, inform, and engage.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of employee communications for the Germany & Austria area, including leader messages, all‑hands, town halls, SharePoint sites, organizational emails, and kick‑offs.
• Create high‑quality communication assets such as briefing documents, talk tracks, presentations, video scripts, and storytelling materials aligned with corporate guidance.
• Drive integrated communications planning and maintain a consistent editorial cadence across all channels.
• Partner closely with leaders and cross‑functional teams to adapt communication strategies based on feedback and organizational needs.
• Use insights and data to inform, educate, and engage employees, strengthening leadership presence and promoting positive internal perception of Microsoft.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in communications, marketing operations, program or project management, or a related discipline.
• Professional fluency in both German and English.
