Construction Project Manager Germany

About the role

You will join the Germany Design & Construction team and take on an operational role, primarily supporting the Senior Project Manager during the transfer phase of data centre construction projects. The role provides exposure to the full project lifecycle – from permitting and authorisations through to final delivery – and offers a strong learning and development opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Support administrative procedures such as permits and regulatory authorisations and coordinate with architects, design offices and authorities.
• Participate in client and internal meetings to define requirements, monitor technical design and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Monitor day‑to‑day on‑site progress with the Senior Project Manager, ensuring safety, construction standards and coordination with energy suppliers, inspection bodies and design offices.
• Assist the transition from construction to operations, collecting as‑built documentation, organising training sessions and supporting knowledge transfer.
• Prepare project reports in English, track budgets with Finance, and contribute to continuous improvement of project‑management tools.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (civil, electrical, general engineering or urban planning) with 5+ years’ experience in construction projects, site supervision or real‑estate development.
• Fluent in German and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
