Consultant – Insights & Analytics (Hamburg)

About the role

Acumetis is looking for a Consultant to join its Insights & Analytics team in Hamburg. You will help pharmaceutical and biotech clients make data‑driven decisions in rare‑disease and specialty‑therapeutics markets across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Generate market data and insights for national and international healthcare markets, focusing on rare diseases and specialty pharmacy.
• Address complex business challenges through data‑driven analysis and deliver actionable, client‑specific recommendations.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals and industry stakeholders to enrich client engagements with primary research.
• Conduct secondary research using investor relations material, treatment guidelines, claims data, scientific publications and public databases, leveraging AI tools where appropriate.
• Collaborate on quantitative and qualitative analyses to develop financial, economic impact, health‑economic and product‑adoption models.
• Prepare market landscape presentations, entry strategies and product‑positioning recommendations.
• Create compelling client presentations and strategic storylines in PowerPoint.

Required profile

• Experience in management consulting within healthcare, pharmaceutical or life‑sciences sectors.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Degree in life science, medical, business or related field; advanced degrees (MBA, PhD, MD) are a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information.
• Experience with large healthcare datasets (claims, EHR, registries, prescription data) is a strong asset.
