Corporate Tax Specialist (f/m/d) – Finance

About the role

Upvest is looking for a Corporate Tax Specialist (f/m/d) to join its Finance team. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance across corporate income tax, VAT, payroll tax, and transfer pricing, while supporting the company’s rapid European expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit VAT pre‑notifications, corporate income tax, trade tax returns and other statutory filings on schedule.
• Develop and maintain the Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS) and related work instructions.
• Produce and update transfer pricing documentation.
• Coordinate payroll tax matters in close partnership with the People team.
• Establish and monitor robust internal controls for all tax processes.
• Collaborate with Accounting during monthly, quarterly and annual closings on tax‑related issues.
• Assess tax implications of new entities and cross‑border structures, liaising with local advisers.
• Act as the first point of contact for tax questions across the business and contribute to cross‑functional projects.

• High level of accuracy and willingness to challenge existing processes.
• Experience handling corporate income tax, VAT, payroll tax and transfer pricing in a multinational environment.
• Ability to work closely with Accounting, Legal, and external tax advisers.
