About the role

Join BASF's Customs EMEA unit as an expert who will increase transparency on new customs laws and regulations, define regional guidelines and act as the single point of contact for operating divisions on customs matters.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and translate court decisions and regulatory changes into BASF's operational setup across EMEA.
• Lead and coordinate the Operating Division community for customs regulatory topics.
• Collaborate with the Process Design Team, Corporate Center and local customs authorities to implement necessary process changes.
• Act as project coordinator for customs regulatory topics and develop regulatory trainings for operational teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or a comparable field, preferably with legal knowledge in foreign trade law.
• Several years of professional experience in customs and trade.
• Effective communication in German and English, with strong presentation and consulting skills.

• Gross annual salary €65,000‑€69,000 plus an 18% bonus.
