Design Innovation Apparel Internship

About the role

This 6‑month internship supports PUMA’s design team in creating innovative apparel concepts. You will work closely with designers to develop product stories, mood boards, and sustainable material research while gaining hands‑on experience in a global sports‑fashion environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the design team with day‑to‑day tasks and visionary brainstorming.
• Create strong product narratives, mood boards, and presentation layouts.
• Support concept ideation, sketching, tech packing, colour, material and graphic applications.
• Conduct in‑depth research on performance and sustainable materials.
• Prepare and present trend research findings.
• Manage data, administrative duties, and maintain organized design files.
• Bring fresh perspectives to the broader design team.

Required profile

• Enrolled student in fashion design, product design (apparel focus) or a related field for the full internship period.
• Strong interest in sustainable design and a proactive, creative mindset.
• Fluent in English.
• Available to start on 01‑07‑2026 for six months.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Competency using Mac computers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
