Desktop Support Engineer (L1) – Onsite EUC Role in Mainz

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer (L1) to join our enterprise IT team in Mainz. The role focuses on delivering on‑site end‑user computing (EUC) support, handling a wide range of hardware and software issues for business users, including VIPs and executives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site desktop and deskside support for Windows 10/11 and basic macOS environments.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) and break/fix activities, including device imaging, deployment, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot Office 365, Outlook, VPN connections, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Utilize SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and ServiceNow for asset management and ticket handling.
• Administer Active Directory, manage user accounts, and support networking fundamentals.
• Deliver VIP/executive support and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Follow ITIL processes for incident and request management.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on desktop/EUC support experience in an enterprise environment.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on‑site and manage multiple priorities.
