DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, secure and scale our hybrid energy‑trading infrastructure. The role bridges algorithmic trading desks, risk‑management systems and core operations, ensuring ultra‑low latency data delivery and high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, architect and build scalable environments primarily on AWS and also Azure.
• Establish comprehensive observability through logging, metrics, tracing and alerting.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines, incorporating automated testing, security scanning and deployment orchestration.
• Lead DevSecOps initiatives, including infrastructure hardening, IAM policies, secrets management and compliance automation.
• Containerise applications and manage container orchestration platforms.
• Collaborate with international team members to ensure compatibility and performance across the stack.
• Define DevOps best practices, standards and adoption strategy for the organisation.

Required profile

• Experienced DevOps professional comfortable with Python scripting.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced, high‑stakes trading environments.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work across Berlin or Houston locations.
