Engineering Manager – Financial Services (Mobility Domain)

About the role

As part of Yassir's expansion, we are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our financial services developers within the Mobility domain. The role is based in Berlin (or Paris) and will drive product development and delivery for our Europe tech hub.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate user requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Lead hiring efforts for the engineering team and nurture a culture of technical excellence.
• Oversee engineering projects, remove blockers, and coach teammates to ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Build robust, scalable software in Node.js and improve code quality through QA and code reviews.
• Design and maintain large‑scale micro‑services and continuous‑delivery pipelines.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and Domain‑Driven Design (DDD).
• Minimum three years as an engineering manager or tech lead.
• Extensive background in cloud technologies, micro‑services architecture, continuous delivery, and modern UI.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience managing remote teams.
• BSc/MSc in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
