DevOps Engineer

About the role

Kiteworks is seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to automate workflows, manage cloud infrastructure, and keep our delivery pipelines running smoothly. You will work in a small, collaborative team, partnering with developers, QA, and security to unblock issues and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Automate build, release, and infrastructure tasks to reduce manual effort.
• Manage AWS cloud resources and container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker) ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable releases (GitLab CI preferred).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot incidents and keep projects on track.
• Support modernization initiatives by evaluating and adopting new tools and practices.
• Maintain secure cloud environments in line with ISO 27001 and data‑protection requirements.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in DevOps or software engineering with a focus on automation and infrastructure as code.
• Strong programming ability, preferably in Python, and comfort writing scripts or small tools.
• Solid Linux command‑line skills and ability to troubleshoot in Linux environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS primary; Azure or GCP acceptable) and core services such as EC2, networking, IAM, and storage.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn as the team modernizes its stack.
