Digitalisation Internship in Customer Risk Management

About the role

Join BASF's Global Business Services team as a Digitalisation Intern in Customer Risk Management. You will work for 3 to 6 months on projects that support the digital transformation of finance processes and help optimise global risk and cash management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Risk and Cash Management Systems unit in executing cross‑functional digital projects.
• Conduct data analyses, perform tests, and document results using agile project methods.
• Collaborate closely with the global functional community and contribute to process optimisation.
• Become familiar with state‑of‑the‑art tools for data analysis, collaboration, and communication.
• Assist in developing future‑oriented business processes for finance.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or Business Mathematics.
• Strong interest in analysing processes and data, with a basic understanding of financial processes.
• Initial experience with analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Very good command of English; German knowledge is a plus.
• Motivation to work in a dynamic, international environment.
