Director of Performance Marketing

About the role

As Director of Performance Marketing you will own the strategy, scaling and optimisation of Westwing’s performance marketing engine across Europe. Reporting to the CMO and part of the Marketing Leadership team, you will drive profitable customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value for a premium home‑and‑living brand.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive growth strategy across the full customer funnel, aligning with business goals and brand equity.
• Lead and future‑proof a multi‑million‑euro acquisition ecosystem covering Paid Social, SEA, SEO, Affiliate and Creator Marketing.
• Identify, develop and implement scalable internal processes, AI initiatives and testing frameworks to accelerate growth.
• Analyse channel performance metrics continuously, shifting budgets dynamically to maximise ROI across international markets.
• Own and refine Westwing’s Multi‑Touch Attribution model and establish best‑in‑class measurement frameworks, including incrementality testing and media‑mix modelling.
• Mentor, lead and scale a diverse team of senior leaders, embedding a data‑driven culture and bridging technical execution with creative thinking.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in growth, performance marketing or e‑commerce, with a proven record of profitable scale.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing international, cross‑functional teams and multi‑million‑euro budgets.
• Deep understanding of modern performance ecosystems and a passion for the home‑and‑living sector.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to link marketing performance to business outcomes.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis, interpretation and modern measurement frameworks.
