Director of Strategic Finance

About the role

unybrands is launching a Strategic Finance function to turn financial data into actionable insights across its portfolio of digital‑first consumer brands. As Director of Strategic Finance you will build the function from scratch and become the chief financial thought partner for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the Strategic Finance function from the ground up.
• Partner directly with the CFO, CEO and executive leadership team on strategic and operational decisions.
• Collaborate with Brand General Managers, Revenue Operations and Supply Chain as the primary financial thought partner.
• Translate financial goals into KPIs, decision frameworks and business rhythms that align the portfolio.
• Establish financial controls, rigor and reporting processes to support a scaling business.
• Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions or teams in a fast‑growing, multi‑brand environment.
• Strong ability to bridge strategic objectives with operational execution.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across senior leadership.
• Track record of building processes, systems and controls that support rapid scaling.
