Ecosystem Governance Coordinator

About the role

The Cardano Foundation is seeking an Ecosystem Governance Coordinator to strengthen its on‑chain governance engagement. You will act as the primary liaison between the Foundation and the Cardano governance community, ensuring consistent communication and strategic alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead community outreach and DRep engagement, managing newsletters, calls and forum presence.
• Revive and expand the Foundation’s presence on X, Discord and the Cardano forum.
• Represent and clearly communicate the Foundation’s governance positions to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with DReps, Stake Pool Operators, Constitutional Committee members and ADA holders.
• Coordinate internally to ensure a unified voice across governance‑related activities.
• Support the evolution of the Foundation’s governance strategy and DRep thesis.
• Draft and shepherd CIP and CPS submissions, as well as constitutional amendment work.
• Maintain meeting notes, action tracking and decision logs to keep governance work transparent and accountable.
• Track governance actions from submission through enactment and keep internal stakeholders informed.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Cardano governance mechanics, including CIP‑1694, DReps, SPOs and the Constitutional Committee.
• Proven ability to execute tasks on a regular cadence and close loops without follow‑up.
• Excellent written communication skills and experience building trust within a community.
• Political judgment and discretion to anticipate optics and stakeholder concerns.
• Fast learner who can adapt to the rapidly evolving blockchain ecosystem.
