Email Marketing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic retention marketing team in Germany. You will design, optimise and scale CRM campaigns across multiple digital channels, combining creativity with data‑driven decision‑making to boost engagement, retention and customer lifetime value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, launch and optimise omnichannel CRM communication strategies (Email, SMS, Push, In‑App, On‑site).
• Build and maintain customer journeys, lifecycle campaigns and trigger‑based flows.
• Manage CRM platforms and marketing automation tools to deliver personalised experiences.
• Segment audiences, configure automation rules and improve campaign performance through data analysis.
• Create email templates, adapt content for different devices and channels.
• Monitor metrics such as open, click‑through, conversion rates, retention and deliverability.
• Conduct A/B testing and continuously refine campaigns.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, design and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with direct communication platforms (Email, SMS, Web Push, On‑site, In‑App).
• Practical knowledge of CRM automation platforms such as Customer.io, Smartico, Fast Track, Braze or Iterable.
• Experience building lifecycle marketing, trigger‑based and mass campaigns.
• Proficiency in email marketing best practices, dynamic content and template management.
• Familiarity with design and email production tools (Figma, Stripo).
