Employee Control (Quality Inspector) – Precision Optics

About the role

Excelitas Technologies, a global technology leader in photonic solutions for illumination, optics, detection and imaging, operates a site in Regen, Germany, described as its centre of excellence for high-precision optics. The company is looking for an employee control specialist (f/m/d) for a temporary full-time position in the operations function. The work involves inspecting and documenting precision optical components in a 3-shift rotating schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Cleanliness inspection of precision optical components
• Surface cleaning of lenses
• Conducting inspections using various measuring tools and instruments
• Documenting lens data
• Coordinating rejections and defects
• Participating in control loops and continuous improvement teams
• Working shift work in a 3-shift operation (rotating shifts)

Required profile

• Completed training as a precision optician (m/f/d) or technical vocational training, preferably in metalworking, precision optics or mechanical manufacturing, or comparable practical experience
• Manual dexterity
• Clean, precise and structured work habits, with a strong commitment to quality
• Sense of responsibility, self-motivation and flexibility
• Willingness to work shifts

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Office applications, especially MS Excel
