Endoscopy Technician – Inhouse (Full‑time)

About the role

The Endoscopy Technician (Inhouse) will work within Fujifilm Healthcare’s Service Workshop in Europe, ensuring the hygienic reprocessing, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of endoscopic equipment and accessories. The role combines hands‑on technical work with strict adherence to patient safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, incoming and outgoing inspections, and repairs on endoscopic devices and accessories.
• Document all work steps in the IT system or paper templates.
• Reprocess contaminated endoscopes following applicable hygiene guidelines.
• Follow manufacturer specifications, internal operating instructions, and ISO 9001/13485 requirements.
• Collaborate with hygiene, workshop administration, technical support and other relevant departments.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and workshop area.
• Participate in workflow optimisation to increase efficiency and productivity.

Required profile

• Completed commercial technical education (e.g., electrical engineering, mechatronics, precision engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical understanding, hand‑craft skills and analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
• Physical resilience and ability to work under strict hygiene conditions.
• Reliability, accuracy and a structured way of working.
• Enthusiasm for high‑quality electromechanical medical devices.
