Engineering Base Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Base Specialist to support our engineering team in Germany. The role is primarily remote with occasional travel to our offices and is initially contracted for six months.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain Engineering Base (EB) structures, data, and workflows.
• Interpret control and protection (C&P) drawings and ensure accurate EB implementation.
• Configure and validate routing logic within CAD tools and automate routing processes.
• Coordinate EB models with Autodesk Revit workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated cable routing.
• Act as the internal point of contact and expert for EB‑related topics.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience with Aucotec Engineering Base.
• Practical experience in cable routing and automated routing software.
• Strong understanding of control circuits and ability to read secondary electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of HV substation secondary design, including controls and protections.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Fluent spoken and written English with good communication skills.
