Engineering Project Manager, SWE Programs

About the role

Apple is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead large, multi‑functional initiatives within its cellular software programs. You will work closely with software, firmware, hardware, silicon, and quality teams to deliver innovative wireless solutions that impact millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of software program milestones, coordinating cross‑functional teams across SW, HW, silicon, and QA.
• Plan, track, and report project status, highlighting risks, gaps, and mitigation strategies.
• Present progress, risks, and achievements to executive leadership and cross‑functional forums.
• Drive resolution of technical challenges by investigating root causes and leading corrective actions.
• Champion improvements to program‑management processes and tooling infrastructure.

Required profile

• Proven program‑management experience in wireless software, system, or platform development.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems and cellular communications technologies (5G‑NR, 4G LTE, UMTS, GSM, CDMA) – a significant plus.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills for engineers, managers, and executives.
• Experience integrating Generative AI into project workflows is preferred.
