Event Coordinator – Trade Shows & Customer Events

About the role

Glenair GmbH is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan, execute, and evaluate a wide range of events, including trade shows, symposia, and customer gatherings. You will work closely with international sales, marketing, and events teams to ensure each event aligns with business objectives and delivers measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute all types of events, from trade shows to customer symposia.
• Collaborate with trade‑show organizers, book exhibition space, and arrange booth services such as catering, hostesses, and electricity.
• Manage booth construction, budget planning, and KPI‑based effectiveness measurement.
• Coordinate staffing logistics, including hotel reservations, ID badges, and site access.
• Lead project planning with online and on‑site team meetings.
• Conduct customer and employee surveys to gather feedback.
• Support business units with product marketing, training, and internal communication.
• Liaise with Glenair’s international events, sales, and marketing teams.

Required profile

• Professional experience in marketing coordination, event planning, and trade‑show management.
• Ability to handle multiple complex projects under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
• Creative, detail‑oriented, and flexible to adapt to last‑minute changes.
• Enjoys teamwork and collaboration across departments.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 40%).
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
