Event Planning Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Remote Event Planning Specialist to design and evaluate personal logistics scenarios for AI research lab talent. You will work independently on complex planning tasks that span travel, household moves, and multi‑party events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long‑horizon planning tasks with deterministic rubrics for agent evaluation.
• Create realistic travel, household logistics, and event‑planning scenarios with verifiable answers.
• Evaluate multi‑stop trips, contractor shortlists, and move checklists against defined criteria.
• Coordinate multi‑party events, balancing availability and location constraints.
• Work autonomously on challenging, detail‑heavy assignments that may require extended focus sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in travel planning, concierge services, executive support, or project management.
• Proven expertise in complex travel itineraries, contractor shortlisting, household move coordination, or multi‑party event planning.
• Ability to read and produce logistics artifacts such as itineraries, comparison tables, and checklists.
• Clear written communication with step‑by‑step reasoning.

• Hourly contract rate between $55 and $70.
