Fashion Designer – Trend‑Driven Collections

About the role

CYBEX is looking for a creative Fashion Designer to shape market‑oriented collections that blend current trends with the brand’s DNA. You will translate research and market insights into commercially successful products for parents and children.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct trend research, international market analysis and convert findings into collection concepts.
• Develop design drafts, select materials and colours, and create prints.
• Collaborate closely with product management, quality, industrial design and project teams throughout the product development cycle.
• Produce collection documentation, presentations and technical specifications.
• Travel across Europe and Asia for trade fairs, store visits and supplier evaluations.

Required profile

• Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent with several years of experience, preferably in lifestyle, sports or juvenile product sectors.
• Proven ability to design collections from concept to market‑ready product, supported by strong storytelling and visual presentation.
• High creativity, strong aesthetic sense and ability to respect CYBEX’s brand DNA.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); German is a plus.
• Portfolio submission is mandatory.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Hand‑drawn and digital sketching, as well as technical drawing.
• Pattern construction knowledge.
