About the role
Mastercard is seeking a FI Solution Sales Director to lead commercial payments growth across Central Europe and the broader European market. This senior position will drive revenue by developing large‑market corporate opportunities and partnering with issuers’ sales teams.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the technical sales lead for Commercial Services (CS) in the Central Europe division.
- Collaborate with local account management, business development, and the European Commercial product team to identify and scale new commercial‑payment opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with large national, regional, and global corporations to create a robust sales pipeline.
- Support issuers and Mastercard account managers in growing corporate spend for Travel & Entertainment (T&E) and B2B solutions.
- Develop in‑depth insight into corporate payments, value‑chain players, and customer pain points to drive Mastercard relevance.
- Partner with product teams to accelerate adoption of commercial payment products.
- Create and execute market sales plans with clear objectives, engagement strategies, and KPIs.
- Align commercial sales strategies and pipeline management across Europe and globally.
Required profile
- Proven experience in B2B sales within the payments or financial services sector.
- Strong consultative leadership and ability to work closely with issuers, corporate clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in driving large‑market corporate revenue and managing complex sales pipelines.
- Deep understanding of commercial payments, T&E, and B2B product ecosystems.
