Finance Business Partner – Germany & the Netherlands

About the role

Qonto is looking for a Finance Business Partner to own financial and business performance across its German and Dutch markets. Reporting to the Strategic Finance team in Paris, you will act as the finance leader for two strategically distinct markets as Qonto transitions to full banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the de‑facto CFO for Germany and the Netherlands, delivering weekly performance pulse, monthly decks and sharp variance analysis.
• Partner closely with Country Managers to shape strategy, reinforce market positioning in Germany and accelerate growth in the Netherlands.
• Lead the full budget and forecast cycles, structuring assumptions, challenging allocations and aligning both country teams.
• Leverage AI to automate routine tasks, build anomaly‑detection models, and provide on‑demand scenario insights.
• Contribute to the design of new performance metrics, regulatory frameworks and governance as Qonto becomes a full‑service bank.

Required profile

• End‑to‑end FP&A ownership for a market or business unit, covering performance management, forecasting, modeling and budgeting.
• Proven experience working with senior leaders (Country Manager, VP) and influencing decisions with data‑driven insights.
• Background in fintech, SaaS or banking, with an understanding of fast‑scaling, data‑driven environments.
• Direct communication style, providing clear, honest feedback.
• Active use of AI tools in daily workflow and a desire to expand their impact.
