Finance Controller & Team Lead - Germany

About the Role

As a Finance Controller (Team Lead), you will act as a trusted business partner to senior management, driving financial performance, governance, and operational excellence in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the local finance team, ensuring high performance, engagement, and alignment with business priorities.
• Serve as the primary financial partner to the General Manager, supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
• Ensure robust internal controls and full compliance with Group financial policies and procedures.
• Manage accurate and timely monthly closings and management reporting in accordance with corporate calendars.
• Prepare and analyze financial results, including variance analysis against forecasts and prior year performance.
• Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and ensure timely local filings.
• Enhance forecasting accuracy through weekly, monthly, and quarterly processes.
• Drive the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), long-term planning, and quarterly forecasts.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to establish and monitor standardized KPIs.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in financial controlling and team leadership within an international environment.
• Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, analysis (FP&A), and statutory reporting.
• Ability to navigate complex organizational changes following acquisitions.
• High level of integrity and commitment to compliance and internal controls.
