Finance & Operations Associate

About the role

ChefCoco is looking for a Finance & Operations Associate to own and improve the financial cycle of its fast‑growing corporate catering business. You will be responsible for invoicing, cost tracking, cash management and reporting, while automating manual processes to support rapid scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Produce monthly P&L statements and weekly flash reports, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Handle client invoicing for meals, buffets, events and subscriptions, and manage receivables.
• Process supplier invoices, track food and delivery costs, and prepare payroll data for the external provider.
• Manage bank accounts, reconcile cash flow monthly, and supply information to accountants and tax advisors.
• Automate repetitive steps in invoicing, cost allocation and reporting, redesigning processes for scalability.
• Collaborate with kitchen, growth and tech teams to align financial metrics with operational activities.
• Support supplier negotiations, benchmark vendors and conduct ad‑hoc financial analysis.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of professional experience in finance, controlling, audit or consulting (including internships or student roles).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or demonstrable achievement in a related project.
• German language proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• Strong understanding of P&L construction, margin analysis and financial modeling.
• Process‑oriented mindset with the ability to map, diagnose and redesign workflows.
• Commercial sense and ability to communicate financial information to non‑finance stakeholders.
• High autonomy, initiative and ownership of projects.
