Financial Controller – DACH Region (Hybrid, Mannheim)

About the role

Cooper Consumer Health is looking for a Financial Controller to lead accounting and controlling activities for the DACH region. Based in Mannheim with a hybrid working model, you will report directly to the CFO DACH and help shape the finance function as the company continues its rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and annual closing processes in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of all accounting records.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and reporting tools.
• Support the insourcing project to build internal finance capabilities.
• Contribute to the development of a small, high‑performing finance team.
• Provide compliance oversight and ensure timely financial reporting.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance or accounting, preferably with experience in the DACH market.
• Hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership of critical processes.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• HGB (German GAAP) knowledge.
• IFRS reporting expertise.
• Financial reporting and month‑end/annual close experience.
