Financial Controller – Germany

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join FARO INSIGHT’s finance team in Korntal‑Münchingen, Germany. The role will support the company’s global operations by overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and compliance across multiple regions and legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process, including production, labor and overhead budgets.
• Prepare monthly S&OP, rolling forecasts and profit forecasts at regional and international levels.
• Support strategic planning through financial modelling, scenario analysis and performance insights.
• Partner with department heads to monitor financial performance, conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain and improve inventory controls, cost accounting processes and product pricing to ensure profitability.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and consolidate results across multiple regions.
• Guarantee compliance with IFRS, local statutory, tax and regulatory requirements and coordinate external audits.
• Strengthen internal control frameworks, develop management reporting tools and support risk‑based decision making.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance & Accounting or Business Administration.
• Strong technical accounting and financial control expertise.
• Proven ability to manage complexity in international environments.
• Experience with German and international accounting standards; knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS is desired.
