Freelance Junior Accountant (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Freelance Junior Accountant (m/f/d) to join our Accounting Team. You will support day‑to‑day accounting tasks, act as a point of contact for audits and help optimise our Accounts Payable processes. The position starts in August and is initially for 3–4 months with a possible extension.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and maintain master data.
• Reconcile open items and communicate with suppliers.
• Handle travel and other expense claims in line with tax regulations.
• Support bank accounting activities.
• Ensure accounting quality and continuously optimise Accounts Payable processes.
• Participate in projects aimed at process optimisation.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Reliable, structured and able to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
• Fluent English; basic German is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Experience with MS Dynamics Navision.
• Experience with DocuWare.
