Freelance Research Physicist – Python & AI Training

About the role

We are looking for a freelance research physicist with strong Python skills to help design and evaluate AI‑driven computational physics problems. The work is project‑based, remote, and supports leading tech companies in testing and improving AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational physics problems that reflect real research workflows.
• Create Python‑based problem statements using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and SymPy.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Develop challenges across mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
• Base tasks on genuine research challenges or practical physics applications.
• Validate solutions with Python and standard physics simulation libraries.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Physics (theoretical, experimental, or computational) or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in research, applied physics, or teaching.
• Strong written English (C1 level or higher).
• Experience with numerical simulation methods and problem‑design thinking.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• NumPy, SciPy, SymPy.
• MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Pandas (any can be equivalent).
• Domain‑specific physics simulation libraries.

What we offer
