Frontend Developer – Modern Web Applications

About the role

YOOtheme GmbH, a leading provider of Joomla and WordPress themes, is seeking a Frontend Developer to join its Hamburg office. You will work in a creative environment on modern web applications, collaborating with an international community.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative web applications.
• Implement front‑end features using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Provide support and documentation for your projects.

Required profile

• College or university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong commitment to quality and a proactive, independent work style.
• Team‑oriented attitude with flexibility and responsibility.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as Less or Sass/SCSS.
• Experience with modern frameworks like Vue.js or Svelte.
• Understanding of object‑oriented development principles.
• Basic knowledge of Node.js and Git.
