Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) – Open Source Survey Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join LimeSurvey’s Survey Platform Development team. You will help build and maintain the world’s leading open-source survey platform, working on both frontend and backend components in a distributed, international team.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full development lifecycle for new features and bug fixes.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose improvements.
• Break down product roadmap items into technical tasks and implement them.
• Collaborate closely with team members, product owners and the community.
• Write technical specifications, adhere to LimeSurvey coding guidelines and ensure code quality.
• Maintain application environments and support ongoing platform maintenance.
• Contribute code that will be publicly visible as part of the open-source project.

Required profile

• Experience with B2B, SaaS or developer tools projects.
• Strong programming background with a focus on PHP and modern frameworks.
• Good communication skills and a “getting things done” attitude.
• Interest in open-source contribution and ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Sense of humour and willingness to join a down-to-earth distributed team.
