Full-Stack Software Engineer – AI Platform

About the role

Our client, an early‑stage AI‑focused platform, is looking for a Full‑Stack Software Engineer to own features from conception to production. This full‑time, on‑site position in Berlin offers substantial ownership over product features, architecture decisions, and rapid delivery in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend systems and APIs for the AI platform.
• Build end‑to‑end solutions spanning backend (Node.js), database layers, and frontend integration.
• Develop and optimise database schemas, queries, and data models for performance and scalability.
• Implement API endpoints and integrate with third‑party services and AI providers.
• Collaborate on technical architecture decisions and system design.
• Maintain and optimise the codebase for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Participate in support engineer rotations to assist customers and the support team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of full‑stack web development experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with product leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience owning features end‑to‑end from conception to deployment in production environments.
• Experience building AI‑powered features or integrating AI/ML services into applications.
• Strong computer‑science fundamentals.
