German Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a German Tax Manager for a fast‑growing US multinational listed on the NYSE. The role combines ownership of German corporate tax compliance with exposure to EMEA‑wide planning, M&A, restructuring and business transformation. It is a commercially focused position working in a hybrid model (three days on‑site).

Key responsibilities

• Own German corporate tax compliance and lead tax authority audits.
• Support M&A, reorganisations and legal‑entity simplification projects.
• Partner with finance and operational stakeholders across the region.
• Monitor legislative changes, identify risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to cross‑functional EMEA tax projects.

Required profile

• Qualified Steuerberater with strong German corporate tax expertise.
• Commercial mindset able to translate technical tax into practical business advice.
• Collaborative self‑starter comfortable working independently.
• In‑house tax experience beneficial but not essential.
