Global Tax Manager

About the role

Almatis is seeking a Global Tax Manager to lead and enhance its international tax, transfer pricing, and tax governance functions across multiple jurisdictions. Based in Frankfurt am Main, you will work closely with senior finance leaders and global stakeholders to ensure a compliant, efficient, and sustainable tax structure that supports business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee global corporate tax compliance, statutory filings, and tax reporting for all Almatis entities.
• Develop and continuously improve the transfer pricing framework in line with OECD guidelines and local regulations.
• Manage IFRS tax accounting topics, including deferred tax accounting and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate global tax audits, inspections, and inquiries with external advisors and tax authorities.
• Assess tax risks and opportunities related to cross‑border transactions and international business activities.
• Monitor intercompany structures, financing arrangements, and transfer pricing mechanisms.
• Drive process improvements, documentation standards, automation, and digitalisation initiatives.
• Support implementation of new regulations such as Pillar II, e‑invoicing, and e‑reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in international tax, preferably within a multinational manufacturing environment or a leading audit/advisory firm.
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax, international tax regulations, and OECD‑aligned transfer pricing principles.
• Solid understanding of IFRS tax accounting.
