Head of Content – Business Unit

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Content for our Business Unit to lead content strategy across multiple digital sports and betting brands. In this fully remote, senior leadership position you will shape editorial direction, drive audience growth, and align content initiatives with SEO, product, and commercial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a scalable, data‑driven content strategy that supports business, SEO, and monetisation objectives.
• Translate market trends, audience insights and performance data into actionable roadmaps for several brands and markets.
• Oversee editorial quality, ensuring compliance with E‑E‑A‑T standards, SEO best practices and brand guidelines.
• Lead, structure and develop multi‑level content teams (managers, editors, writers) across different languages and regions.
• Establish KPIs, workflows and performance frameworks to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with SEO teams on keyword coverage, internal linking and content optimisation.
• Monitor, analyse and optimise content effectiveness using traffic, engagement and conversion metrics.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and content gaps.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading content strategy and large‑scale operations in digital publishing or related fields.
• Strong background in SEO‑driven content ecosystems, preferably within iGaming, sports media or performance‑marketing environments.
• Proven track record of managing and scaling international, multi‑level content teams.
• Deep understanding of SEO principles, editorial strategy, E‑E‑A‑T standards and content monetisation models.
• Analytical mindset with experience using performance data to guide strategic decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in cross‑functional, international settings.
