Head of Operations Controlling

About the role

As Head of Operations Controlling you will lead the global Operations Controlling function for a worldwide manufacturing footprint. You will shape the finance‑partnering model, ensure cost transparency and drive strategic financial decisions across all production sites.

Key responsibilities

• Own the global Operations Controlling function and define its strategic development.
• Provide functional guidance to 14 Production and Site Controllers across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
• Ensure consistent controlling standards, cost transparency and decision‑relevant insights for senior management.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and planning for manufacturing costs and integrate them into the overall financial planning cycle.
• Steer CAPEX and Technical Cost Controlling at group level, delivering investment performance and value contribution reports.
• Design, build and continuously improve dashboards and KPI frameworks using modern BI and analytics tools.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in manufacturing or operations controlling, preferably in a global environment.
• Proven leadership skills within a matrix organization and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting and CAPEX management.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
