Head of Production Germany

About the role

As Head of Production Germany you will be responsible for the overall performance and continuous development of Arethia's German manufacturing site. You will lead a multi‑shift, food‑grade production environment that creates a wide range of flavours, ensuring safety, quality and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site’s production organization through shift leaders and team leads across planning, manufacturing, logistics and warehousing.
• Maintain a strong shop‑floor presence, driving safety, hygiene and quality standards.
• Oversee production planning and execution in close collaboration with supply chain to meet OTIF targets.
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, shape capacity, automation and investment agendas with global engineering.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strategic vision combined with hands‑on operational experience in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
• Proven track record of scaling production capabilities and leading multi‑shift teams.
• Strong leadership presence on the shop floor and ability to foster cross‑functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
